applicable): 3 items below 245:neck shield and weapon at the moment. I have 39349hp right now but I gemmed for hit since Im bit low on it, Can regem to stam if that would be necessary to up my hp. I have retribution offspec with slightly worse gear, if you wish to see it just ask and Ill log out in ret gear.(consists of badge gear mainly with quel derrar 2hd sword and some icc hc parts to fill)

( This question must be answered to make your application valid ) Yes, I enjoy tanking the most, I leveled this paladin because I think it brings more utility to a raid then a druid tank (wich I played during TBC and early wotlk)

What makes you interested in joining Elysium?
Im looking for a guild who wishes to progress and kill the lich king (and hopefully deathwing eventualy),
I got bored with wow when TBC was halfway, decided to go play some other online games, tried out AOC and WAR from beta but decided it just wasnt my thing, so I got back to wow and leveled 3 of my chars to 80 been casualing about now pugging raids when I get the chance, since my current guild cant field a 10 man raid (its more a casual guild). I know Elysium is (was/will be) a good guild, I have confidence the leaders will do what it takes to reach the goals, as will I.
I spend a lot of time playing wow and want to take it to the next level, and I think people in this guild feel the same way and have the same goals.

Why do you think you would be a good addition to Elysium?
Im a good guy, Im friendly easy going and like to have a good laugh.
Im always prepared for raids, I read several forums to see whats going on with my class and what experience other players have to share and how they handle it (tankspot and maintankadin for tactics and tankrelated matters, mmo-champ for general info) Im aware of my surroundings while tanking, try to be the best tank I can be by reducing the healing I need and positioning mobs so the dps has easy acces. Im always very focused during raids (as opposed to being a joker outside raids:D). I read up on tactics of bosses I havent done yet and have watched all tankspot movies (and yes I realise that seeing it =/= doing it but it gives a head start)
I can take critisism, I can do what you tell me to do,I move out of the fire/bluestuff/green stuff, and Im always open to discuss different tactics and try them out to see if we can do things easier. I get only epic gems and the best (in my humble opinion) enchants for my gear. Im not afraid to spend some G if I think it will benefit my tanking, and I m always open for suggestion from more experienced people.
Most people like me because of my positive attitude towards life, Im not one to start screaming or moaning if we
wipe, theres always a next try. Im always up for stuff besides raiding too, I dont just log on to raid and then
dissapear the rest of the week. I know I have mainly 10 man experience right now but I am familiar with 25 man
tactics for most raids and fights and have time to look up any Im not familiar with yet.
I use DBM, Omen and recount and Vuhdo raidframes, I have several abilities like bop, hof and loh bound to my mouse so I can mouse over the raidframes and click them (stole that from my resto druid), Im currently trying out tinyplates and threatplates and must say I like it so it will probably stay too.(it scales the enemy nameplates with how much aggro you have very nice for aoe tanking)
Are you always raid ready with reagents for buffs and stocked up on food buffs, pots and flasks? Yes and I even
repair before every raid as well I carry around the str/stam buff but can get fishfeasts too (my druid has max
fishing cooking) and enough symbols of kings and divinity to last 2 weeks of wipes (wich Im sure wont be needed but still)

Do you have a working microphone, and Ventrilo installed? yes and yes, I m not shy either

What guilds, on Outland or your original server, were you previously in?
I came from Bladefist in the great migration, on bladefist I was in a guild called da galde troll fra nord (with my first druid Mugaah) but it kinda fell appart after the migration, I then joined Not for Hire with my second druid (Pano) wanted to try feral because a friend of mine was in that guild and we had some good times, untill I got tired of running karazhan (it was a 10 man guild and 10 man raiding just wasnt what it is now, and say what you want but 6 months Kara is just too much :p) so I quit wow for a while and came back for Wotlk. I joined Ruin then on a friends rank didnt do much raiding with them, they had a steady team going, when ruin disbanded I joined Distorted basicaly an IRL friends guild just for some laughs we pugged some raids with the members that were into raiding but realy nothing serious.
I joined a Dutch guild (ways to die) to raid about when toc came out to do some raiding but sadly we never got a
full guild raid and frankly its not helping us progress in anyway, people in pugs tend to leave quite fast and once
your in a saved instance with 4 bosses down its almost impossible to find (decent) people to continue. Im bored
with that and want to find a guild that is dedicated to progress and I want to contribute to that (I am currently still in Ways to die).

What do you expect from us?
A steady enviroment with like minded people, people who wish to progress while still having a laugh or 2.

Do you have previous MMO experience? I played Planetside, Archlords, Rappelz, AOC and WAR

What are your professions? (Prof, skill level, specialisation)on my paladin I have mining (+60stam) and enchanting (+60stam on rings) maxed got all recipes from vendor and some oldies like mongoose and crusader. and cooking can make all but fishfeast (but i can make those on my druid)
On my alts I have skinning, Leatherworking, herbalism, alchemy(transmute master, can change to elixir master again if desired), fishing and cooking maxed out so I can get pretty much everything I need to prepare for raids

What time can you raid till on weekdays? (Server Time)
rather not past 1 if I need to get up in the morning for work

Is your connection stable(dc often in 25 mans?), your computer good enough to raid with?I have a very stable
connection, it is 10mb cable (Telenet) and it rarely breaks, its been a while since I had a dc. I play wow on Ultra
settings (Im abit of a hardware geek) and havent had fps issues yet. (got
about 40fps when aoeing 2 whelp grps on ony 25)

Like you read at start my name is Sven and im 32 years old, im currently unemployed, the company I worked for is going downhill and I was the victim of restructuring. The good news is I get paid for 4 months to sit at home . Im an electronics engineer by training so I probably wont have much trouble finding a job, I only take 9-5 jobs anyway since I dont want to give up my hobby. I still live at home because I m saving up to buy a house (freaking expensive to get one in belgium) and I get along very well with my parents, they dont come disturb me when Im playing wow or anything and give me hot food, so I can only love them. (They dont tell me its bedtime orso either)
I used to play volleyball on a decent level untill I got old and decided to swap it for wow. I play wow almost
every night due to Belgian tv sukking totaly (and me not having a life). On friday night and saturday night I occasionaly go out and have a beer with friends, or play some poker
I enjoy watching some series like bigbang theory, how I met your mother and other comedies (I like to laugh)
I ve tought about changing guild a couple of times but im probably too loyal for my own good so I stayed even tho we had 0 progress for a long time, but Im not happy anymore with the situation Im currently in so I decided to try and change it so I can fully enjoy the game, after all we all pay or $$ to play, so when I saw the post on the forum I considered to apply with you guys. Im not someone who randomly swaps guilds though, I hope I find a spot where I can stay in the future of wow, so I hope you will give me a chance to prove myself.

shield can be easily upgraded from gunship battle if it drops because i already got it = ] so it would be all yours if u raid with me= ]
